Celebrating Science & Spring: Closes 2025 with Honors and Joy

To welcome the new year, the Center for Hydrogen Energy Chemistry blended heartfelt reflection with vibrant celebration. At the Year-End Summary and Commendation Meeting, Prof. Ping Chen not only outlined the team's dedicated efforts over the past year but also applauded their unwavering diligence. Then, she charted an ambitious and inspiring path for 2026. Together with Prof. Teng He, she proudly presented the 2025 Annual Awards. The Service Contribution Award was bestowned upon Khai Chen Tan, Kaixun Cui, and Jiayin Li, while the Research Advancement Award went to Shangshang Wang, Yuting Wang, Ren Zou, and Shixiong Zhang. Warmest congratulations to all!

Then, on February 8, 2026, the annual dinner transformed the evening into a tapestry of laughter and festivity. Bathed in a radiant red glow, the venue buzzed with energy as staffs and students eagerly joined in games, including archery, seed-cracking contests, balloon pony races, curling, and a bluffing board game, each moment ringing with cheers and joy. 

In the DIY's corner, the creative spirit soared: handcrafted red envelopes, calligraphy blessings of 'Fu', poetic couplets, and delicate paper-cuts allowed everyone to shape their own New Year wishes with their own hands. 

From spirited competitions to quiet artistic moments, and finally to the cheerful redemption of gifts, the evening unfolded in waves of warmth and delight. It was a truly heartfelt celebration.
