On May 28, the Center for Hydride Energy Chemistry cordially invited Dr. Yuwan Lou, Technical Director Ningxia Baofeng Yuneng Technology Co., Ltd., to deliver a talk on the lithium-ion battery technology. This event has attracted strong interest from the staffs and students of our research center, focusing on frontier developments in the energy storage industry and corporate strategic positioning. 

During the presentation, Lou analyzed the global energy storage trends, emphasizing market growth driven by the energy transition and carbon neutrality goals. In addition, Lou also pinpointed on our research center's pioneering research in hydrogen energy storage. Aligning with Baofeng's vision, Lou outlined the company's green supply chain investments and industrial synergy. Lou also highlighted the role of her institute in supporting product research and development, and showcased smart manufacturing and quality control practices that enable efficient, high-quality battery production. 

Research Center Director Professor Ping Chen and Dr. Zhihui Lyu, Chairman of Funde Jinyu Clean Energy, attended the talk as well. Following the talk, a fruitful discussion was held with Lou and the audience on energy storage industrialization, industry-academia-research colloboration, and integrated hydrogen-electric strorage systems.
