Recently, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) has announced the results of the 2026 CAS Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation. Our research center, Dr. Jirong Cui, with his dissertation title 《稀土基氢负离子导体的开发与应用研究》, has been selected as one of the excellent doctoral dissertation. Congratulation! 

The Chinese Academy of Sciences Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation is selected annually, and the selected achievements are required to achieve theoretical or methodological innovations at the disciplinary frontier, reaching domestic leading or internationally advanced levels. This year, a total of 100 outstanding doctoral dissertations were selected across the entire Academy.

Dr. Cui's dissertation focuses on the development and application of rare-earth-based hydride ion conductors, involving systematic work on material design, structural characterization, and performance optimization, providing experimental evidence and theoretical references for further research on this class of materials.

This selection is a recognition of Dr. Cui's research work and also reflects the group's sustained accumulation in graduate student training and strategic direction planning. In the future, the group will continue to address major national needs and the world's scientific frontiers, cultivating more high-level young scientific and technological talents and producing more landmark innovative achievements.
