Dr. Jay Keller from Department of Energy (DOE), USA and Dr. Pierre SERRE-COMBE from Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), France were invited by Prof. Ping Chen to visit DICP on 5th March. An exchange meeting was held in Biology building. Attendees from DICP included researchers from Hydrogen Energy and Advance Materials (DNL), Fuel Cells and Batteries (DNL) and some administrators from the offices of Science & Technology and Infrastructure Construction. At the meeting, Prof. Ping Chen made an introduction of Dalian National Laboratory of Clean Energy to the visitors. And Dr. Keller and Dr. SERRE-COMBE introduced the current development of hydrogen energy and fuel cells in USA and France, respectively.
After the meeting, Dr. Keller and Dr. SERRE-COMBE visited the laboratories of Hydrogen Energy and Advance Materials (DNL) and then further discussed with Profs. Ping Chen, Lixian Sun, Zhitao Xiong and Qingjie Ge.
Dr. Keller and Dr. SERRE-COMBE are the members of Regulations Codes and Standards Working Group (International Partnership for Hydrogen Economy). This visit aims to enhance mutual understanding and expand future cooperation.
